North Star Stables NOVA, a 501c3 organization, was founded on the dream that people of all abilities can co-exist in a recreational and academic setting. The setting for that dream is a high-caliber riding academy founded in the spirit of classical riding principles for the well-being of the horse. Our riders, their families, and our equine team members receive the highest levels of care and empathy because we believe that "choose kindness" is a philosophy to live by. We hope to be a respite from the harsh realities of the world and to be positive role models for true inclusion in the community at large. North Star operates under the highest safety standards in order to protect our riders, as well as humanely possible, from the unavoidable unknowns in the sport.
